VALENT Response to COVID-19

Dear Valent U.S.A. Customers and Partners,
Valent U.S.A. recognizes the rapidly changing coronavirus (COVID-19) concern is a challenge and source of uncertainty to our customers. The health and wellbeing of our team and yours, our mutual customers and the communities where we live and work continue to be our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and following the guidelines and recommendations of public health authorities.
We remain committed to providing our customers with the continued high level of service you expect from Valent U.S.A. and want to share with you the steps we are taking to adjust to this situation.
First, we understand and support that many of our customers have implemented policies for the safety of their employees. We commit to fully adhere to your facility guidelines and guest meeting policies. We commit to work with you to implement remote and digital approaches to stay in high contact frequency with you and serve you at the highest levels possible without compromise to the policies you have in place to protect your employees, customers and business.
Additionally, Valent U.S.A. has implemented internal social distancing policies to minimize the risk of in-person exposure. Consistent with that policy and effective immediately, we are asking our sales, marketing and field research team to cancel in-person meetings with our customers in favor of telephone or virtual (online) meetings. We will be canceling all group meetings and larger format in-person sessions. If you require an in-person meeting with your Valent U.S.A. representative, we ask that it be limited to business-critical circumstances and note that it will require managerial approval in advance.
While these challenges are deep reaching in all organizations and communities, we are confident that U.S. farmers will not be deterred from planting their crops and managing their orchards, vineyards and produce operations for 2020. We will work closely with you to ensure Valent product solutions are in place to help US farmers be successful. Thus far, we have not experienced logistics delays, but the uncertainty of the upcoming weeks could place burdens on having product in the right place at the right time. We ask that you proactively consider your needs now and place orders that allow us the opportunity to meet your needs proactively and in a timely fashion.
