Herbicides for Pigweed

Pigweeds, which include Palmer pigweed (also known as Palmer amaranth) and waterhemp are summer annual weeds. They are a common problem in agricultural crops, nurseries, greenhouses, lawns and landscapes. Pigweeds have an extended germination period, grow rapidly and have high rates of seed production, so herbicide resistance is an increasing problem.

Pigweed is tough, but Valent herbicides are tougher—even on glyphosate-resistant pigweeds.
