Mite Control Tools
Mites are tiny arachnids, generally staying on the undersides of leaves, and sucking fluids from the leaf tissue. Growers need protection for many of their crops including almonds, cotton, grapes, hops, strawberries, pome fruit and more. Lawn care operators and ornamental growers fight mites in roses, spruce, azalea, mountain ash and others. Under the right conditions, seven to 10 days is all it takes to complete a generation.
Valent has miticides and insecticides with activity on mites to help in spider mite and other mite control programs.
