Insecticides for Mealybugs
Mealybugs pose a serious threat to ornamentals and agricultural plants. Ornamental growers need to defend against mealybugs in many crops, including orchids, gardenias, hibiscus, ferns and others. For agricultural growers, mealybugs are a growing problem in grape vineyards, pome fruits and other tree fruits crops. Large-scale infestation can cause leaf drop, and mealybugs also produce sticky honeydew that encourages growth of sooty mold which causes cosmetic injury to ornamentals foliage and decreases the quality of fruits.
