Johnson Joins Valent Seed Protection Business

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.—Valent U.S.A. Corporation announced that Paul Johnson has joined the company’s growing seed protection business as Crop and Key Accounts Manager.
In his new role, Johnson will work closely with Valent sales and technical teams to provide technical and marketing support for such new Valent seed protection offerings as the INOVATE™ System for soybeans. Johnson also will help introduce soon-to-be-launched Valent seed protection products for cereals, potatoes, sugar beets and canola.
“Growers need every edge possible to make a strong yield and an overall healthier crop. Valent seed protection products help get them started in that direction,” Johnson said. “I feel I am joining the company at an exciting time of growth—with a healthy lineup today and a strong pipeline of new products for tomorrow. A 16-year veteran of the seed and crop protection industries, Johnson has worked with such leading agricultural companies as Loveland Products, Inc. and the former Agriliance LLC. He most recently held technical and marketing leadership roles within the seed treatment business at Bayer CropScience.
