Fierce Herbicide

Valent U.S.A. Corporation is developing Fierce Herbicide as a low use rate preemergence herbicide for use in soybeans and field corn. Fierce provides residual control of tough weeds including glyphosate-, ALS- and triazine-resistant Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, common lambsquarters, velvetleaf, dandelion, marestail, annual nightshades, pigweed species and annual grasses. Currently, there are many research trials in progress and EPA registration of Fierce is anticipated in 2011.
