- Provides up to 8 weeks of residual control
- Consistent, broad spectrum control of grass and broadleaf weeds
- Foundation program contains two modes of action for resistance management
Fierce Herbicide now registered in no-till and reduced-tillage field corn.
Fierce Herbicide is the highly anticipated preemergence herbicide that contains trusted Valor Herbicide and pyroxasulfone - a brand new chemical family that is very strong on broadleaves and annual grasses. In trials across the country, Fierce showed very long residual control of tough weeds such as Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and annual grasses, including those that are glyphosate-, ALS- and triazine-resistant.
Data shows that Fierce provides consistent residual control--up to eight weeks--of tough weeds and grasses. Fierce helps in resistance management as Fierce contains two modes of action and researchers say that using more than one mode of action is key in resistance management.
Note: Soybean registration is anticipated in time for the 2013 use season.
