How Esteem Ant Bait Works

• An attractive bait to fire ants and other protein-feeding ants, Esteem is picked up by worker ants and carried back to the colony.

• The worker ants ingest the pyriproxyfen and oil from the bait and feed it to the queen and developing larvae.

• Once ingested by the queen, Esteem disrupts her ability to lay fertile eggs.

• In addition, existing larvae do not become adults.

• The result: worker ants are not replaced and the entire colony dies.

Note: Esteem does not kill adult ants.
