Williams Promotion Strengthens Valent Customer Focus

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (August 5, 2008)—Valent U.S.A. Corporation has announced the promotion of Alison Williams to strategic accounts manager. In her new role, Williams will be responsible for managing a combination of regional and national accounts for Valent across the United States.
"Alison is widely respected for her strong customer focus and proven commitment to meeting customers' needs," said Danny Rogers, Valent director of national crop sales and supply chain. "I look forward to seeing her skills applied on a larger scale to benefit our customers nationwide and help move Valent forward as she takes on these new challenges."
Williams joined Valent in 2005 as a sales representative. During her tenure with the company, Williams has managed relationships with regional business units of several key strategic accounts. Before joining Valent, Williams managed sales territories in Iowa, Louisiana, Georgia and Mississippi for other major crop protection companies.

Williams graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics. She will work from the company's Germantown, Tenn., offices.
